Treasurer’s Report:
- Hillary provided the latest update on numbers.
Bluemont Fair 2025:
- There are 56 people on the committee.
- All remaining volunteer slots for Chairs have been filled.
- Kim Hurst will help manage the 50/50 raffle.
Bluemont Heritage:
- Renovations of Snickersville Academy are ongoing and look great.
- Lisa Seeberger has put together a brochure that will be mailed to over 1000 households.
- The 200th Anniversary celebration of the Academy is tentatively scheduled for Sunday, August 24th.
Neighbors Helping Neighbors:
- Mary Marks expressed her appreciation to everyone for the support provided during her recent accident and recovery.
Other:
- On Tuesday, July 22, at 10:00 AM, a representative from the Blueridge Wildlife Center will be at the Bluemont Community Center.
Snickersville Turnpike Association:
- At the Plaster property, masons are currently restoring the stone wall. They will continue to work with homeowners for wall restoration along Snickersville Turnpike.
- On Sunday, August 3, at Plaster’s field, there will be a planting and dedication of a crepe myrtle tree in memory of Rosemary Stanger.
- The annual picnic will be held on August 24 at the corner of Plaster’s field, across the street from the historic marker.
