Some important groundwork will be laid in 2022 as the BCA partners with VDOT to address traffic calming thru the village. Loudoun County, per the Comprehensive Plan of 2019, is initiating at the same time a dialogue with the unincorporated villages to define boundaries and zoning ordinances. The County has requested the BCA to assemble an “Area Plan” outlining our goals and practices moving forward. Any Bluemont resident who wishes to be part of the committee charged with accomplishing this task can apply at bluemontvillage@aol.com.
