Bluemont, Virginia is a bucolic village nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains just off Route 7. It features a blend of picturesque historic homes, buildings, former schoolhouses, and thriving local businesses. The surrounding landscape stretches across the Blue Ridge crest, including a portion of the Appalachian Trail, and descends to the beautiful Shenandoah River.
Engage in Your Community
Volunteering is a great way to socialize, build relationships, and contribute to the greater good of the community. Starting in 2025, Bluemont’s special events will be orchestrated by individual committees who plan and execute the event. Please join us. Share your time and talents—and make a difference! Events include:

- Snickersville Academy’s 200th Anniversary Celebration
- Fiber Arts Exhibition at the Plaster Museum (April – October)
- Bluemont Arbor Day Committee (Arbor Day is April 25)
- 10th Annual Spring Fling Festival (May 25 at Hogan’s Field)
- 2nd Annual Bluemont Concert Series (Spring & Fall Concerts at the BCC)
- Bluemont Appalachian Trail Committee (June 7th Festival hosted by Hillsboro, Bluemont & Round Hill)
