Bluemont, Virginia is a bucolic village nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains just off Route 7. It features a blend of picturesque historic homes, buildings, former schoolhouses, and thriving local businesses. The surrounding landscape stretches across the Blue Ridge crest, including a portion of the Appalachian Trail, and descends to the beautiful Shenandoah River.
Remembering the Victims of TWA Flight 514: 50 Years Later
The Remembrance Ceremony held on December 1, 2024, was captured on film by local cinematographer Ethan Weitz. This video is being shared with all the families who attended the Commemoration, as well as those relatives and first responders who were unable to travel to Bluemont. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the volunteers and donors whose contributions made this “Day of Remembrance” such a remarkable success.
