- Art work has been chosen
- Social Media Chair – Gina Capone is keeping Facebook page up to date.

Bluemont Heritage – Peter Weeks, Kevin Hart

- Upcoming exhibition: Education in Bluemont in the 19th and 20th Centuries will open June 6th at the Plaster Museum
- Snickersville Academy – Red Bud and Dogwood trees will be added in addition to bushes and ferns.

Community Organizations/Events
Loudoun Historic Villages Alliance – Peter Weeks, Bill Bogard

- VDOT will let citizens know timeline of widening bridge on Foggy Bottom (estimated to take two days). Widen bridge through culverts . Water sampling now through July. Hollow Oak will be upgraded for traffic diversion.

Community Center/Parks & Rec – Sheri Conrad

- Community Center will be closed May 28th – June 21st to replace floors. During this time they will be temporarily housed at the Loudoun Valley Community Center.
- Lunches provided on Monday (and a week’s worth of food given at that time) until May 24th.
- Camp begins June 28th

- Slow progress being made on curves by VDOT

Old Business:

- Arbor Day Recap
- 25 trees were given away in 25 minutes
- VDOT will put up Tree City, USA signs
- Plaque will go in EE Lake Store

New Business:

- Museum Education Exhibit – Plaster Museum beginning June 6th
- Features five schools of Bluemont and Mock Classroom
- Kevin Hart is looking for volunteers
- Farmers Market – 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Sundays beginning May 16th
- Wonderful line-up of vendors (half are new)
- Simply Bluemont will feature a different vendor from Bluemont each week with 3% of sales going to the co-op
- Wander Magazine – Bluemont featured in Spring Issue https://www.wanderloudoun.com
- VDOT Traffic Calming – calming measures (possibly brick paving) will be added to identify Bluemont’s residential area (and lower speed limits).
- Museum Education Exhibit – Plaster Museum beginning June 6th
