Poster/T-Shirt Design wanted for 2025 55th Annual Bluemont Fair

Organizers of the 55th Annual Bluemont Fair, to be held on September 20 & 21, 2025, in historic Western Loudoun County, VA, invite artists of all ages and abilities to submit designs for consideration for this year’s unique poster and T-shirt. The theme for 2025 is the 200th anniversary of Snickersville Academy. Built in 1825, this charming log structure, which sits on the banks of Butcher’s Branch, served as the village’s first one-room schoolhouse and church. Lovingly restored in 2010, with a community-maintained walking lane, bridge, and garden, Snickersville Academy now serves as a focal point of Bluemont’s early history. Artists’ interpretations can be as broad or narrow as they choose and may use any medium. However, designs and colors should be suitable for replication on the Bluemont Fair’s distinctive poster (14” x 22”), T-shirt, and merchandise. The request is for design only as an illustration or graphic—details about the fair will be added after the winning design is selected. Artists’ names should be on the back of the artwork. Please also include contact information and a brief biography. The chosen artist’s name will be printed on the poster, and their work will be acknowledged in Fair publicity.
